Linda Evans is an American actress, born on the 18th of November 1942. She has a long experience in the world of television. She rose to fame playing Victoria Barkley's (played by Barbara Stanwyck) daughter Audra Barkley on the 60s Western TV series The Big Valley (1965-1969). The most notable role that she had was as Krystle Carrington in Dynasty. The role, which she performed from 1981 until 1990 featured the character of Blake Carrington's wife (played John Forsythe). Her family moved from Baltimore to Edmonds, Washington when she was six years old Her father Jack was an sociologist working in the University of Washington as a vice president for internal communications. He later headed the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association as well as Karen, her mom Karen was the special education teacher in the Seaview Elementary School in Edmonds. Faris is the older sister of Robert and is a social scientist and professor at University of California Davis. At a young age she was surrounded by her parents who supported her as she pursued an professional acting career.
